Who we are
Sustainable Wine Ltd is a purpose driven business based in London. Our mission is to make sustainability mainstream in the wine industry.
As a platform for change, we research, create, and facilitate debate-driven, focused events, roundtables and discussions tackling the critical wine sustainability challenges around the world.

Tom Owtram is our research and development manager at Sustainable Wine. Having qualified as a chartered surveyor and after working for a FTSE 250 Real Estate Investment Trust as an asset manager, Tom decided to change tracks and gain experience working on several biodynamic vineyards in Provence and in the Languedoc-Roussillon. These experiences refocused his concern for the environment and led him to complete a master’s in international sustainability management studying in both Berlin and Paris, specialising in sustainability in the wine industry. Whilst supporting all aspects of the business, he is responsible for the organisation of Sustainable Wine’s conferences and partner account management.
